Due to some personal reasons we are drastically downsizing our flock and will not be having eggs available to sell once they’re all rehomed. I have enjoyed meeting fellow chicken lovers over the last year and we will be back whenever the time is right. As for now we are just going to enjoy a small flock for eggs. Below is a list of hens we will have available.

Once again it’s been a minute since you’ve heard from us. Life has gotten the best of us and we have been quite busy with two young kids. On that note we have had a lot happening with chickens in the last week. We have had 24 chicks hatch in the last 5 days(6 English BBS Orpingtons, 2 English Lavender Orpingtons, 16 mixed breed colored egg layers). Also, we have added a breeding trio of Bielefelder chickens to our flock. They’re an autosexing breed so you are able to tell which are male and which are female right from hatch! It’ll be next year till we offer this breed to the public, but below is a picture of our beautiful rooster and one of the chicks that hatched yesterday 😍

English BBS orpingtons and English Lavender orpington eggs going into the incubator tomorrow morning! Have been debating on keeping a set for breeding of the three orpingtons colors we have hatched and are hatching. Of the three which do you prefer? Crele, lavender or BBS?

We had 8 English Crele Orpington fuzz balls hatch yesterday and are getting moved to their new brooder box today!

I know I haven’t been updating quite as much lately, but we are finally starting to get back in business. Just put a dozen English Crele Orpington hatching eggs in the incubator today! We have lavender and bbs orpington hatching eggs on order to arrive after our last vacation. Excited to watch these babies grow 🐣

One of the sad realities to having chickens. They love to free range and you want to be able to let them roam free, but every predator would love to get ahold of them. We have officially cleaned out our one coop and it’ll be sitting empty till we are willing to hatch more chicks. This most likely won’t be till fall. My plan is to hatch orpington of various colors. Is there any other breeds you would all be interested in? I’m open to a few others, but for now we will not have any chicks or laying hens available.

**Chicks have gone to a great home 🙂**

Unfortunately we had the inevitable happen with letting our chicken free range and never having an attack. 7 of our chickens are gone including our broody momma and sweet rooster Teddy 😢. She leaves behind three adorable chicks. 2 Easter Eggers and 1 speckled Sussex. They’re a week old. We are going on vacation very soon and would love for these three chicks to go to a loving home with either a broody hen or someone willing to take the time to raise them. Please message me if interested. Prefer them all to go together as they are bonded.
