Volunteer help needed …

Cornish Cross Harvest: From the farm to the freezer, Saturday, 10/19.

Where: Dayspring Farms, Williamsport

Times:
7am - 12pm slaughter
12pm - 2pm lunch
2pm - 6pm butcher and packaging

If you can help for any part of the day, please come join us. We especially need help with cutting whole chickens into parts and vacuum packaging.

We’re moving into the sixth week of raising 150 Cornish Cross meat chickens. The planned harvest date is Saturday, October 19th. Thanks to Chris Crampton for getting the hoop houses rebuilt and taking care of the chicks.
