When you leave a grain bucket where you think it’s out of reach, some ewes will prove you wrong.

We’re checking for lambs multiple times a day and noticed an increase in diarrhea and low energy from a couple ewes. Once we found the unexpected empty corn bucket, we knew it was likely acidosis. Providing a timely treatment was key to not losing an animal. Luckily we caught ours in time and those couple of ewes recovered.

Still waiting on our first lambs, maybe this afternoon!

Regenerative farming might be slow and steady, but it works.

We started our farm with a passion for biodiversity, sustainability, and conservation. Looking back at our pastures from the beginning it’s amazing to see how they have improved across all metrics, including soil health, insects and bird populations, and productivity. Looking forward to seeing how to make our land better to benefit all of the animals that make our farm their home.

We often are asked what’s included when you buy a half or whole lamb, here’s a breakdown:

Half - about 15 lbs of finished, packaged cuts (roasts, chops, leg, stew meat, and ground.)

Whole - double that! Good for families or shared orders.

Every cut is processed locally, vacuum-sealed, and ready for your freezer.

It’s real, simple food that is pasture raised right here in Mid-Michigan.
