Midget white turkeys have arrived on the homestead this morning. Originally developed right here in Massachusetts these smaller than average turkeys should be a perfect fit for our acreage.

When the snowblower says no thank you to 2+ feet of snow but there’s still pigs to feed and water. Hok skis to the rescue

First year with the automatic chicken door. Like everybody said. Works great until it doesn’t. 50f rain to 20f froze it up. Defrosted with the torch but now it’s possessed. Jammed it closed for the night, exorcisms are a tomorrow problem.

Pigs were happy to see a bucket load of pumpkins today. Cottonwood’s never seen a pumpkin so big.

This years turkeys are bagged tagged and ready for their forever homes. Featuring two 30+lb monstahs. Hope the neighbors enjoyed watching the rodeo and shout out to my kids for not burning the house down in the six hours I was occupied

Beautiful fall day to work on clearing out the garden with Walter. Picked and weighed our two Jack O’lantern pumpkins. 33.5lbs and 60lbs.
