The red seedless watermelons are in! We also have more of the Yellow Doll seeded watermelons, Canary Melons and Cantaloupes!
Due to the big harvest, our tomato sale has been extended through Saturday: 25-lb. boxes of large tomatoes are $30, 25-lb. boxes of medium tomatoes are $25.

We will be open this Tuesday, July 21, instead of Wednesday,
from 10am to 3pm.

All our slicing cucumbers, pickle cucumbers and zucchini will be on sale!

1/2 bushel boxes of cucumbers or zucchini will be $15 (regularly $20). Individual cucumbers and zucchini will be reduced, as well.

Eggplant is in!
We also have cabbages (green, arrowhead, red). Go to our website, www.muthfamilyfarm.com, on the farm stand page, for a complete listing of produce.
This cabbage recipe is both delicious and easy! Chop a head of cabbage (I used arrowhead, which is sweeter than the green), and simmer in about a quarter inch of water in a large pot. Once it's cooked down, stir in 2-3 Tbsp. tomato paste and about a quarter cup of raisins. Season to taste with salt. Cook to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. All the water should be absorbed at this point. Add a little x-virgin olive oil. That's it! Yum!

This recipe, "Better Squash Casserole" from www.easygfrecipes.com was so good, we've had it twice already!
I made it using yellow squash, but you can use zucchini, too.
