Raising animals comes highs and lows. I can confidently say there are more highs than lows but this one hurts. I have a responsibility to keep my animals happy and healthy and I have failed my sweet Valais Blacknose Sheep.
With a heavy heart and no other responsible choice I have sell my sweet herd.
As much as I love and enjoy them, they are not safe with me.

All are very friendly and love attention.

Wormed, vaccinated and sheared regularly.

They have all lambed with me one time.
Because the ram is with them 24/7 I would assume they are all bred again.

Even in his summer and yearling uglies he’s still the sweetest boy around. Waco was lucky enough to find his home today and we are so excited to watch him grow and develop close to home. From day one of weaning back this Spring he never gave me a fuss. Even after months of very little contact he let me walk right up to him (without food I might add) and halter him.

I really dislike selling calves in the summer. Flies, pinkeye, ticks, shedding coats, FLIES…….all the things. 😅

With that being said, I have a handful of calves I’d make some really great summer deals on. 🤗 I also have a couple of terrific calves that are not ON SALE but would make super investments for serious breeders. We’ve got it all! 🤎

Yall….i feel like my boy Waco here is being massively overlooked. 🥹 This guy is so good. He’s sweet, calm, hairy, non chondro AND SMALL.

In my opinion he is a great candidate for your chondro females OR simply to bring your herd height down if your a non chondro herd. His mom Dolly is a true mini measuring 40” at 3 years old. Sire measured 45.5” at 3.5 years old. This guy is SMALL and awesome.

I’d be happy to FaceTime or send videos showing just how awesome he is.

I can’t put into words how excited I am for this guy. Ebony & Bruno ALWAYS knock it out of the park with their calves. There are 2 full siblings out there that this little guy has and they both are phenomenal animals! If this guy is chondro positive I’m not sure anyone could convince me I don’t need him for our program. 🤩
