Thank you for having us for Day 1 during the Galax Hillbilly Dayz in Galax, Virginia! 🐐❤️

We had a wonderful time meeting so many families, sharing our animals, and seeing all the smiles throughout the day. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit the Country Heart Petting Farm!

🌧️ Rain Brings Out a Salamander! 🦎

One of the best things about a rainy day on the farm is discovering the wildlife that appears after the rain. Today, a little salamander made an appearance, reminding us that nature is full of surprises.

Salamanders love cool, damp places and are often spotted after a good rain. It's always exciting to find these tiny visitors and appreciate the amazing creatures that call our farm home.

Due to the unpredictability of regional radar forecast, we've decided to move tonight's event inside to The Floyd Country Store. Doors open at 6PM.

This means no Kid Zone, sadly, but the music will be great and there will be dancing!

Around here, even the wildlife likes to check in on the neighborhood. 🐾 This morning’s unexpected visitor decided to take a casual stroll down the road like he had errands to run and places to be. No rush, no worries—just small-town traffic held up by a furry local making his rounds. 😂
