PESTO CAPRESE TOAST
This toast entered our menu as a seasonal offering, and because it’s mouthwatering delicious (and due to popular request) it found its way to a permanent spot on our year round menu! ✨
It was TOO GOOD to not keep year round! 🍅
It starts with a slice of our locally made organic sourdough (literally made with Starter, Filtered Water, Pink Himalayan Salt, and Organic Flour)
Next we add our house made Pesto spread — made fresh multiple times a week in small batches, with all organic ingredients (Pine Nuts, Fresh Basil, Parmesan, Garlic, Lemon Juice, and S&P)
Then it’s topped with fresh and soft organic mozzarella cheese and sliced cherry tomatoes, drizzled with balsamic glaze, and finished with some pink himalayan salt & ground black pepper.
If you want to elevate this toast even more, ask to add sliced avocado to it! I promise you won’t regret it, and you definitely won’t get it without avocado moving forward! 🥑😉😋
