No more Sweet Corn!
Thanks for another great season. We continue to be open through October for Pumpkin sales. Our hours have changed slightly:
-Tues. through Fri.: 11am to 5:30pm
-Sat. and Sun.: 10am to 5:30pm
-Closed on Mondays

Closed today (Monday the 5th) for a family gathering. Open again tomorrow with lots of pumpkins and the last couple days of Sweet Corn!

Yes, we still have Sweet Corn this weekend! Our final crop, the Bi-color called "Temptation", is still sweet and tender.
And we are hauling up beautiful Pumpkins by the wagon load! Stop down this weekend for Pumpkins, Gourds, Corn Stalks, and more.

Now entering the last days for Sweet Corn. We expect to run out before this coming Weekend, but we are not sure exactly when.
Our last 2 crops are a Bi-color called "Temptation" and a Yellow called "Bodacious".
Stop on down if you have any last minute freezing, canning, corn chowder making, or just plain corn eating to do!

The nights are getting chilly, the cucumbers are dying back, and the pumpkins are turning orange. Autumn is just around the corner!
This weekend, we are picking the last of the white kernel "Illusion" and a new crop of the yellow "Bodacious" Sweet Corn.
There is one last crop yet to ripen, so we should have Sweet Corn through the end of September.

This week we are picking 2 new crops of Sweet Corn; an all yellow "Incredible" and an all white "Silver Queen". We have 3 more crops yet to ripen, so we hope to have Sweet Corn through September.
Also, our Tomatoes and Peppers are ripening faster than we can pick them. Stop by before their all too short season ends!

Corn update.

Now picking an All Yellow to go with the Bi-Color.

We’ve picked out the all white “Avalon”, but Mother Nature willing we will have one last crop of all white later this season.

Also a friend of ours has dropped off some apples from their orchard, they’ll have to compete with all our tomatoes and zucchini for shelf space.

Quick update.
We have one variety (All White “Avalon”) for a few days while we let the next crop (Bi-Color “Utopia”) ripen up.

In the meantime the garden has been providing a bountiful harvest of tomatoes and zucchini!

We are now picking "Avalon", our next crop of white kernel Sweet Corn. It's a cousin to Silver King and Silver Queen with a similar taste and texture. We should be picking this crop for the next week or 2.
Also still picking "Bodacious" and "Honey Select". The ears are getting BIG but the flavor is all there with NO starchy texture yet!
And with these cooler nights our tomatoes are beginning to ripen in force!
