Are you hip to the Minneapolis backyard HipHop scene? Or maybe the rhythm and sound of connecting your inner vibrations to the greater space outside your backyardβ¦
This week ππ’πππ₯π ππ‘π¨π° π¨π§ ππ‘π ππ«π¨π° welcomes Minneapolis artists ππ‘π’π₯π₯π’π© πππ’π§π ππ¨π‘π§ & ππππ.
Phillip Saint John is a healer, experimental hip-hop, and dynamic soul singing artist and ΒΌ of the hip-hop collective PACT. Through community empowerment, energy healing, and music Phillip has dedicated his life to elevating family, friends, and strangers alike. To chase their dreams and express themselves as authentically as possible and enjoy the diverse aspects of their own personalities by choosing to nurture new seeds to fruition to heal their inner child with the artist himself.
About Phillipβs PACT collaborators:
ππ‘π¨π¦ππ¬ π ππ¨π«ππ¨π§βπ¬ self-produced rap is a carefully crafted cultural commentary to wake one up to the Self and is colored by dense metaphors and experimental vocals that weave into complex polyrhythm and polyphony arising from the blending of his African, Native American, and Northern European Heritage.
πππβπ¬ lyrics are as deep in concept as they are in tone as he traverses unorthodox beats in the realms of Dubstep, Drum and Bass, and electronic music. A true wielder of information, he handles his words with ease, painting pictures that open the mind to the truth and then remind his listeners that they are strong enough not only to handle it but to make personal and collective change.
