More farm royalty! 👸

Finally introducing to you our 2024 Pine County Dairy Princess, Lillia Jordan, representing Birch Creek Dairy. Her parents are Matt and Crystal Peterson and Jesse and Jayme Jordan. 👑

Fun Facts:
- Her favorite animal on her family’s farm is her holstein heifer, Poppy! She is the friendliest and sweetest cow they have.
- She wanted to become a dairy princess to show love to our dairy community and family and to spread more education about the true importance of dairy farms.
- Her favorite hobbies include reading, making bracelets, drawing and spending time with her animals.
- She loves everything dairy, but her favorite dairy recipe is her mom’s homemade cream cheese frosting!

Lillia graduated high school in May and is currently attending Starmark Academy in Texas for a canine specialist and behaviorist degree.

Our Large Animal Science class toured a local dairy operation. The owners of Birch Creek Dairy, near Denham, led students around their farm discussing everything from dairy nutrition and feed inputs, to milking cows and raising newborn calves. Pictured here are some of the students with a 1 month old Holstein heifer calf in a warm calf hutch.
