The farm is starting to take shape. we have recently made a lot of improvement on how I have always “imagined” it. It makes me think about how we become a new creation in Christ. We are made in the image of God and when we surrender to him as our savior we start to “take shape” as well. If you havent yet let Jesus make you brand new today.

We always say “life isn’t fair” well I’m sure glad it isn’t. We cant deny that we have a sin problem in this world and noting we can do about it. Praise be to God that “God so loved the world he gave his only Son” to take on those sins for us. If life was fair and we didn’t serve a FAIR and JUST God we would be just like the picture says….

Brush hogging is like therapy to me. It’s alone time with me and my creator to ponder life and a lot of its meanings. Listening to the mower clear out the summers brush and briers makes me think of How God works in our life. When Christ when to the cross and paid that price for our sins he was cleaning up all the brush and briers in our lives we aren’t able to clean up ourselves. So when your life starts to get brushy just remember to run back to Jesus and allow him to clean you up.

Someone once told me “if a man has land he has freedom” I agree that their is a lot of truth to that but our true freedom is found in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. It doesn’t matter if you have 3000 acres, 300 acres, 30 acres, or 300 square foot our freedom is found in Christ. “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."
