🍪 6th period Intro to Culinary put their recipe reading and measuring skills to work today making vanilla polvorones!

Each student made their own small batch, practicing how to follow directions, measure carefully, and turn simple ingredients into cookies. Proud to see these students getting hands-on experience and building confidence in the kitchen! 💙🐯

Breakfast burritos to sweet treats—Tiger Café had a little bit of everything going today! 🌯🍿🍪

Our students prepared breakfast burritos for Lunch Bunch, popcorn and drinks for staff, 240 sugar cookies for the band, and a sheet cake for the Ladies Club silent auction. They also made additional key lime and Bananas Foster cups for yesterday’s catering order!

Real orders, real customers, and plenty of opportunities to practice teamwork, presentation, measuring, portioning, and meeting deadlines. Proud of these students and the work they’re putting in! 💙🐯

1st period Intro to Culinary tried their hand at baking today! 🍪 After studying recipe reading and measuring, each student put those skills to work making a personal batch of vanilla polvorones.

From measuring ingredients to following directions, they were responsible for their own batch from start to finish. Proud to see them taking what they’ve learned into the kitchen! 💙🐯

Comfort food and sweet treats at Tiger Café today! 💙🐯

Our students made grilled cheese sandwiches and homemade tomato soup for Lunch Bunch, then whipped up desserts to sell at Tiger Café after school! 🍪🍰

6th period Intro to Culinary got their turn in the kitchen today! 🎉 After studying food safety since the beginning of school and passing their ServSafe Food Handler test, they celebrated their first kitchen lab by making cotton candy!
