We are honored and excited to welcome “Scott Jones and Showstring” to BuckBranch Farm! So many exciting things happening and I truly cant wait to see what the future holds! Here Is a little bio on the one and only “Scott Jones”!
Raised horseback on the historic Matador Ranch in Matador TX, Scott Jones’s entire equestrian career is based on those fundamentals he gleaned at an early age. A proud product of Texas 4-H, Scott’s early riding was western-based, focusing on cutting, reining, working cowhorse, and rodeo events. Scott has been mentored throughout his professional career by the likes of Harvey Spicer, Mark Shaffer, Nancy Sue Ryan, and Gigi Bailey. For the past 20 years Scott has been at the helm of his own business, Showstring, focusing mainly on futurity HUS horses, working hunters, and the occasional all around mount. Having trained, coached, or shown over 55 AQHA world and reserve champions, over 110 Quarter Horse Congress Champions, numerous Honor Roll champions, and countless NSBA Futurity winners, Scott’s record speaks for itself—he promotes welfare, integrity, and patient encouragement into each training ride and coaching session.
