Hanna Family Farms, LLC We are a small farm that bales & sells horse quality hay (small square bales). Follow Hanna Family Farms Equine, LLC for all Equine related activities!

We also breed and sell hair sheep (Dorper/ Katahdin) for herding training and local meat. The Hanna’s settled and began farming at the current homestead in 1875. Throughout the years, the farm has been used to produce hay, wheat, spelt, barley, corn, sheep, dairy cows, pigs, mules, horses, chickens and currently beef cattle . What’s with the brand? The brand is our registered Ohio Livestock brand

that will be on our horses and cattle. Hanna Family Farms (HFF) makes up the bulk of the brand to carry on the family name, deeply rooted in the farming culture. Where does the “w” on the top of the “F” come into play? Emily purchased an auction pony names Whisper, who had a brand depicting a crooked arrow. whisper was the start of Emily’s equine passion in training, showing and providing lessons. With her background in Occupational Therapy, she has begun research in developing a therapeutic riding program. The “w” represents the blending of Emily’s passion with the Hanna Family’s farming culture. Our goal is to continue farming with the focus on producing hay, raising cattle, and developing an equine facility with opportunities to benefit the community.
