Fresh produce is stocked and ready!
Our Route 73 wagon is loaded with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, green & yellow zucchini, broccoli, and cabbage.

We’ll also be set up today at Rural King in Hillsboro with all of those items plus a few extras! We will be there 10:30-5 Wednesday through Friday now until the end of summer!

Yesterday was a busy day here at Lee Farms Produce! 🌽🎃

We were happy to see so many of you at the Clinton County Farmers Market. After the market wrapped up, it was back to the fields. We finished another planting of sweet corn, then moved on to pumpkins, planting 3.5 acres in one day!

We also got cultivating and spraying completed just in time for the rain. A big thank you to our crew for helping get everything done efficiently. Now we’re hoping Mother Nature cooperates and rewards us with a beautiful pumpkin crop this fall! 🚜🌧️🎃

🌽 Sweet Corn Update! 🌽

Our sweet corn has officially started to silk! Those silky strands you see growing from the top of each ear are a big milestone in the growing process.

Each strand of silk is connected to a kernel on the ear. When pollen falls from the tassels and lands on the silk, it travels down the strand and pollinates that kernel. That’s how each kernel of corn develops!

So when you see silks appearing, it means we’re getting one step closer to fresh, homegrown sweet corn. Summer is coming, and so is corn season! 🌽☀️

🌱 Fresh on the wagon this week! 🌱

We’ve got beautiful kale, kohlrabi, and tomato plants ready for you to take home and enjoy. Everything is $2! on the wagon on 73 across from Antioch road!

Meanwhile, we’ve been busy in the fields planting sweet corn for the season. The rows are filling up, the corn is growing, and we’re getting closer every day to harvest time. 🌽

We know everyone is excited for that first ear of sweet corn, and trust us—we are too! Keep an eye on our page for updates because it won’t be long now.

We currently have fresh kale, kohlrabi, a small amount of bok choy, and the last of our tomato plants available.

Everything is just $2 each — whether it’s a pack of tomato plants or an item from the cooler.
