Hey friends! With the inclement weather and a tornado warning in our area, we’ve decided it’s time to call it a day and get everyone home safely. We are closing NOW. ❤️

Kinda chic to be Wilmington’s first kombucha brewery… and still be here 10 years later. ✨

Somehow, we let our 10-year anniversary quietly slip right past us.

Not because it didn’t matter. Quite the opposite.

We’ve just been busy doing the things that got us here in the first place — brewing, creating, pivoting, solving problems, filling cans, making deliveries, taking care of our little family business and figuring out what comes next.

But somewhere along the way, we got way too quiet on here. 😬

So consider this our official WE’RE STILL HERE post.

Ten years ago, Panacea started brewing kombucha in Wilmington before most people around here even knew what kombucha was. 😂 A whole lot has changed since then — including us — but we’re still brewing, still experimenting, still independent, and still incredibly grateful that you guys have kept us around for an entire DECADE.

And since we clearly need to get our social media act together…

Now Hiring: Assistant Brewer—Panacea Brewing Company in Wilmington, NC.
We’re a fun, family-owned brewery producing kombucha, hard kombucha, non-alcoholic beverages, and traditional craft beer. Everyone here wears many hats! This role balances brewery tasks—like brewing, cleaning fermenters, and canning—with helping retail customers in our Tiny Tap & Taste.
It’s 25 to 35 hours per week, hourly pay based on experience, with weekends sometimes needed.
Responsibilities: Assist brewing and cleaning, run CIP and SIP, operate the canning line, make deliveries, and help customers. You need a valid driver’s license, be able to lift heavy kegs, and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in brewing or canning is a plus, but not required.
