It sure is fun to watch the former show kid spread her wings and do big things in the judging arena.

We always knew she was talented but now the rest of the world gets to see it too!

Congratulations Sydnee Hawkins and the rest of your Black Hawk team! Keep shining big!

A successful trip so far, but we’re looking to continue that success as we head to Tulsa!

We have been waiting all summer to post this win! Sophie deserves a special trip to Burger King (they have top shelf mustard) to celebrate adding another belt buckle to her collection!

This litter of blues has been fun to watch finish! The moment I saw their Mom, I knew she could be a generator! Looking forward to her litter this spring.

I said it had been a busy couple weeks and I wasn’t wrong! It has been an honor to be part of Sara’s county fair story. She’s one of the hardest working county fair participants with multiple species and so many other projects! So proud of all she accomplishes every year.

It might be just one backdrop but there were two handshakes! Can’t really believe that Dolly is the Indiana State Fair Champion % Myotonic Doe!!! She was my first so she’s special but I had no idea of how special she would be once she grew up.

Congratulations to Wyatt Morelock for topping the Junior and the Open shows at the Great Indiana State Fair. You did a fantastic job!

Drive it like you stole it. 🔥

If you know us, you know that pretty well sums up how we feel about showmanship.

These kids brought some serious heat to the ring at their county fair:

🏆 Hadley Hawkins – Champion Junior
🥉 Chase Miller – 3rd Overall Junior
🏆 Avery Hawkins – Champion Intermediate
🥈 Ally Hawkins – Reserve Champion Intermediate
🥈 Alyssa Miller – Reserve Champion Senior
🏅 Casen Hawkins – 5th Overall Senior

And with two first-time showmen in this group, we couldn’t be prouder of what they accomplished.

What people see is a few minutes in the show ring. What they don’t always see are the hours at home, families working together, the people standing around the ring offering encouragement, and sometimes the tough conversations when things don’t go exactly the way we hoped.

Showmanship teaches you pretty quickly that wins aren’t given. They’re earned through hard work, focus and drive. Sometimes you win. Sometimes you learn. Then you go home and get better.

What makes us most proud is that every one of these kids walked into the ring, made it through their heat, came back for the final and walked away with a Top 5 placing.

Some of them even had to compete against each other, and that competition only pushed them harder and made each of them better.

That’s what this is all about. Work hard. Push each other. Support each other. Keep learning. And when it’s your turn to walk into that ring…

Drive it like you stole it.

Very proud of every one of them! ❤️🐐
