Rise Up Community Farm's mission is to nourish our neighbors and empower local youth. We are a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit.

When we have more produce than our primary food pantry needs, we have the privilege of working with several other folks in our community to find homes for the veggies.

This year alone, we've had such abundance that we've been able to donate over 200 pounds of produce to ! 💚

We are thankful to have such strong connections here in Wilmington!

What a joy to listen to songs and stories from last Saturday night, surrounded by our amazing community!!

Thank you, Clyde for bringing the entertainment, for donating tasty bread and @ for helping cook!

Our community raised over $1,600 to help fund our summer youth internship which will start mid-June, and we felt blessed to have such good company here at Rise Up Community Farm.

This Saturday, join us at the farm to enjoy the storytelling of Clyde, a known and loved local author & artist whose novels have been adapted to film & theatre. We'll have some made-with-love snacks to try and you'll get to take a tour around our fields at the most beautiful time of day! 🌅

What do you want to learn from lending a hand?

Education is a core pillar of our mission. Teaching skills in gardening, where our food comes from, how to have fun while working outside, the needs in our Wilmington community, how to support our community partners in their important work, etc...we do our best to incorporate many types of knowledge sharing here at Rise Up! 💚

The has sponsored our basic needs for growing food over the years, and we are incredibly grateful for it! It takes many layers of help to get food to our community, from funds for seeds and soil to the hands that plant and harvest it.

Yesterday was the first official day of spring, and we are already rolling out bunches and bags of nutritious veggies! Thank you to our community for making this happen!
