OREO STUFFED CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES RECIPE 🍪

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 package Oreo cookies

__

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Take a large scoop of cookie dough (about 2 tablespoons) and flatten it into a disc in your palm. Place a whole Oreo in the center.
Take another smaller scoop of dough, place it on top of the Oreo, and seal the edges together so the Oreo is completely hidden inside a ball of dough.
Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spaced at least 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. Let them cool on the baking sheet for at least 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Okay but WHY is my family calling this “Chocolate Lasagna” like it’s a normal thing?! 😂

I mean… I get it. Layers on layers of Oreo crust, creamy cheesecake filling, and rich chocolate pudding stacked like a masterpiece.

But also??? This is not pasta… this is straight-up dessert chaos and I’m OBSESSED.

10/10 would eat the whole “lasagna” by myself 😭🍫

WHAT YOU NEED:
Layer 1 - The Crust:
• 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies
• 6 tbsp Butter, melted
Layer 2 - The Cream Cheese Layer:
• 1 block (8 oz) Cream Cheese, softened to room temp!
• 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar
• 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
Layer 3 - The Chocolate Pudding Layer:
• 2 packages (3.9 oz each) Instant Chocolate Pudding mix
• 3 cups Cold Milk
Layer 4 - The Topping:
• Another tub (8 oz) of thawed Cool Whip
• Mini Chocolate Chips for garnish

HOW TO LAYER IT (IN ORDER):
1️⃣ CRUST: Crush the entire package of Oreos (filling and all!) into fine crumbs. Mix with the melted butter and press firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 glass baking dish.
2️⃣ CREAM CHEESE LAYER: Using an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together until completely smooth (no lumps!). Gently fold in ONE tub of the Cool Whip. Spread this white layer evenly over your Oreo crust.
3️⃣ PUDDING LAYER: In a separate large bowl, whisk your 2 boxes of pudding mix with the cold milk for 2 minutes. It will get very thick. Let it sit for a minute, then carefully spread the pudding layer on top of your cream cheese layer.
4️⃣ CHILL: Place the dish in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes to let the pudding set slightly. This makes the next step easier!
5️⃣ TOPPING: Carefully spread your SECOND tub of Cool Whip over the set pudding layer. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips!
6️⃣ FINAL CHILL: Cover and refrigerate for AT LEAST 4 hours (overnight is even better!) to let all the layers set perfectly before slicing.

Wait… why is it called a pie when it’s clearly a cake? 🙄🍰

I finally gave the famous Boston Cream Pie a shot because everyone wouldn’t stop talking about it… and yeah, I get it now.

Soft layers, creamy filling but let’s be real, that glossy chocolate ganache is the main character here 🧐✨

Lowkey… might actually be worth the calories.

INGREDIENTS:
2 layers of yellow cake
2 cups vanilla pastry cream
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla extract

__

DIRECTIONS:
Bake two 8-inch yellow cakes and let them cool completely.
Spread a thick layer of vanilla custard or pudding onto the bottom cake layer.
Place the second cake layer on top of the cream.
Heat heavy cream and chocolate chips together until smooth to make a ganache.
Pour the warm chocolate glaze over the top, letting it drip down the sides.

I still remember the summer my grandmother finally revealed her cheesecake secret… 🍰

She told me it was never just about the rich, velvety cream cheese.
The real magic? Patience. A slow, gentle bake… and a generous handful of fresh blueberries bursting on top 🫐✨

One bite—and I’m right back in her sunlit kitchen, watching, learning, and stealing tastes when she wasn’t looking.

This isn’t just dessert.
It’s a memory you can taste 💛
