Shrimp Pad Thai // recipe π©
Ingredients:
-rice noodles
-shrimp
-1 bag bean sprouts
-1 tsp salt
-1 tsp black pepper
-1 tsp paprika
-1 minced shallot
-5 cloves minced garlic
-1 bell pepper
-1/4 cup white onion
-green onion
-1 lime
-2 tbsp Olive Oil
Sauce
-4 tbsp brown sugar
-1 tbsp soy sauce
-1 tbsp white vinegar
-2 tbsp peanut butter
-2 cloves minced garlic
-3 tbsp fish sauce
-1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Directions:
1. Marinate your shrimp in salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic, lime juice, and olive oil.
2. In a large pan on medium high heat, sautΓ© your shrimp until halfway cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. In the same pan add in shallot, onion, bell pepper, bean sprouts, and garlic. Cook until the onion is cooked.
4. Add back in your shrimp, cooked noodles, and sauce. Cook and simmer until the sauce has absorbed into the noodles.
5. Top it off with more bean sprouts and green onions.
