Happy belated Mother’s Day to the mommas out there. Being a mom is the best job. It’s also a lot to juggle when you’re working a job! Hats off to all the working moms out there. I’m ready to take a step back from flowers this season to focus on being a present mom and enjoying the summer. I will be taking a break from That Girl’s Flowers. It was such a difficult decision, but I don’t want to miss out on all the cute moments and meaningful learning with my kids. For those who followed the tornado in the summer 2024, we are back home. We purchased the house next door and moved this winter. We now have two adjoining properties and are settling into the new landscape and homes. We are so happy to be back and see what our new lives evolve into.
I’m truly sorry for disappointing my customers. Thank you for being with me through these transitions. I’ve always prided myself in being consistent with my business and showing up, but life happens and you just have to roll with it and do what suits you best. After 13 seasons I’m ready to have a reprieve from the hustle of farming. My brother thatguysfamilyfarm is growing sunflowers, so you can expect to see those in the farm shop this summer. And of course all of their wonderful produce will be there. The farm shop is actually already open if you didn’t know! Stop in for fresh produce 7 days a week.
