This is such an adorable gift shop and boutique!!!

Have you been to The Hive on The Hill yet?? Its the newest business to join the shops at Poplar Grove. It’s full of local favorites like honey, sourdough bread, and local soaps, elderberry syrup, and so much more!! I’ll be there sampling our Queen of Chai and Hibiscus Cider!

We grow Microgreens!! Tomatoes, Tower Garden veggies, potatoes in bags and fresh lettuce on our counter!!!

Every time there’s another food recall or outbreak, it reminds me why we’re working so hard to become more self sufficient.

This Cyclospora outbreak isn’t about fear, it’s about realizing how much we depend on a handful of large companies to feed our families.

Will we ever grow or raise 100% of our food? Probably not. But every tomato from our garden, every berry from our patch, every gallon of milk from our cows, every egg from our chickens, every pound of meat from our steers, every meal we can provide ourselves is one less thing we have to depend on someone else for.

If you can grow one tomato plant, that’s a win. If you can keep a few herbs alive, that’s a win. You don’t have to do everything to do something. 🌱🤍
