Veolia Delaware employees recently spent an afternoon at Richardson Park Elementary School in Wilmington, helping teachers and school administrators prepare for the new school year in partnership with the United Way of Delaware.
Our volunteers helped organize and decorate classrooms, arrange learning materials and create welcoming spaces for students. They also helped organize books for the school’s new curriculum. In total, 3,919 pounds of books were delivered and organized by grade level to help teachers and staff get ready for the year ahead.
At Veolia Delaware, we believe being part of the communities we serve means showing up, building partnerships and finding meaningful ways to make a difference.
