We are sharing in the collective heartbreak of losing Dolly this week. While it is a comfort that she squeezed several lifetimes into 80 short years, we sure would have liked to have known her at 90 and 100.

Dolly often said that good food and good company go hand in hand. Let us all aspire to be good company like she was - generous and free of judgment, grateful and loving to all. Our biggest, brightest selves.

Good food takes care of itself, especially if you have great guidance like Good Lookin' Cookin'!

What a wonder and a gift she was.

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT NATHAN SPAINHOUR IS COMING TO WILMINGTON!

Sorry to yell, but it's a big cool deal! We are going to host Nathan Spainhour, author of The South Carolina BBQ Project, in a no-holds-barred conversation with food writer Andre James on Saturday, September 12! There will be barbecue to taste and books available for signing, as well as robust discussion on one of the South's most beloved and polarizing topics.
