Today we’re celebrating a huge milestone for the heart and soul behind Twisted Cuisine — Rhonda’s 20 years in hospitality and food service! 🎉

Twenty years of long days, late nights, early mornings, sharp knives, hot pans, and even hotter determination.

It all started on Sheridan Road — the restaurant years that built the foundation. Those were the days of learning, growing, experimenting, and pouring love onto every plate that left the kitchen. The regulars who became friends. The staff who became family. The lessons that shaped me and what Twisted Cuisine would become. It was always a labor of love, and many hands made light work.

From there, the celebrations began — catering events for friends, family, and incredible clients who trusted our crew with their weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, retirements, corporate gatherings, and life’s biggest moments. Every event carried a personal touch. Every menu had a little twist. Every table told a story.

There were the pop-up events at Kemper Center and Wilmot Raceway / Kenosha County Fair, an unforgettable summer at the Kenosha Yacht Club, and the continued growth of a catering business built on creativity, hustle, and heart. Each step forward came with risk, faith, and a whole lot of passion.

Twisted Cuisine – in all its versions - isn’t just about food, It’s about community. It’s about bold flavors, big ideas, and the courage to chase what others might call “crazy.” It’s come with some big sacrifices, but some big wins, too.

To everyone who has worked alongside me and supported my twisted dreams… to the ones we have loved, the ones we have lost, and everyone in between, whether you worked with us, referred us to friends, cheered us on, washed dishes, prepped veggies, carried chafers, made reservations, shared posts, or shown up hungry — THANK YOU. You are part of this 20-year story.

Here’s to the journey so far — and to many more delicious years ahead. I am blessed to still love what I do, and for that I am grateful. 🥂🔥
