Welcome to Markerson Acre, we are glad you found us. We are a hobby fiber farm located in the Upper Valley Region of New Hampshire. We are surrounded by beautiful forests and mountains and of course our herd of alpaca. We moved to New Hampshire in 2009 from Chicago and have been developing and growing our farm since. We started with Alpaca in 2011 with two fiber males and we were hooked. We learne
d a lot with the first two and then the following year bought two additional males. We now have three outstanding herdsires and three additional fiber males. Markerson Acres has also started making products from fiber from our farm or other local fiber farms. We make scarfs and hats from the wonderful prime Alpaca fiber. We also blend local wool with our Alpaca second grade fiber and make our Socks. We are happy to also sell yarn from our animals whether it’s mill spun or hand processed and spun at the farm on a spinning wheel.
