From Saturday, August 1 through Saturday, August 8, Hook'Em Right Coffee will be at the White Marlin Open Scales every afternoon from 3:00 PM until the last boat.

What a week of hunting for our Seervice-Disabled Veteran founder.

Absolutely the craziest turkey hunting weekend that I have ever had. Went out Saturday and saw a group of 7 turkeys 600 yds away. They came out in the fields for about an hour then vanished very quickly. I saw a few bald eagles out in the middle of my field about 30crashed down right on one of my decoys. 0 yds away. First it was 2, then 3, then 5, then 6! They owned the entire 200+ acre farming area for the morning. They flew around keeping everything else away from what they were feeding on. Turkey vultures up in the corner tree. Since I knew turkey hunting was over I went over to see what was going on. Turned out to been a deer that died in the field. Drug it off into the woods and called it a day.
Sunday I went out and had a bald eagle sitting on my stand for 30 minutes. I saw a turkey off in the far corner about 5oo yds away. Last time I saw it was when the eagle took off and went after it. About 30 minutes later I heard something land on my stand. I banged on the roof and a young eagle flew off the stand. 30 seconds later he came screaching and took out one of my decoys. He stayed around for 30 more minutes and took out the other two. Trying to carry them off. Turkey hunting over.
Came back Wednesday and saw a group of turkeys 600 yds away. I called in a large gobbler whe had 2 jakes and a hen with him. Got him to 50 yds and took him out. He ended up being a banded bird that was tagged back in January 2025. He was tagged a few miles away a street over from my farm field.
