🇬🇧 A little reminder that you don't have to wait for our Downtown Wilson store to open to get your hands on some proper British goodies! 😁
We've just added Hula Hoops to our selection at Vendor Junction, joining the Walkers Crisps, French Fries, British chocolate, Jaffa Cakes, drinks and a few bits of Harry Potter magic. 🇬🇧
We're still working away behind the scenes on the new shop at 204 Goldsboro St SW, but in the meantime there's already a little bit of Britain waiting for you at Vendor Junction — 417 Nash St N, Wilson, NC. 😁
And yes... Crisps are still $2 each or any 3 for $5! 😂

🇬🇧 Important Cheeky Brit product research continues... 😂

After last week's Cornish Pasty investigation, this week's extremely difficult job was testing Beef Banger Rolls.

Now, I'm a Traditionalist, so was a bit sceptical that it wasn't pork, but I was pleasantly surprised. 😅

Lovely flaky pastry, proper beef sausage filling and, most importantly, the pastry actually stays together while you're eating it rather than covering your shirt in crumbs. 😂

These definitely passed the Cheeky Brit Quality Test. 👍🇬🇧

So... who fancies a Beef Banger Roll? 😁

Important Cheeky Brit product research underway... 😂🇬🇧

We've found some very authentic Cornish pasties — and yep, they taste bloody good!

Personally, I'd have a little more potato and swede and a little less meat, but somehow I don't think “too much meat” is going to be a major complaint in North Carolina. 😂

We're still working on what will eventually make it into the shop, but these have definitely got our attention.

🇬🇧 WE’RE STILL HERE… AND WE’RE COMING SOON! 🇬🇧

You may have noticed we've been a little quiet on here lately — but don't worry, The Cheeky Brit hasn't gone anywhere!

In fact, quite the opposite. 😁

There's been plenty happening behind the scenes as we work through the plans, permits and preparations needed to turn this beautiful old Downtown Wilson storefront into The Cheeky Brit. 🇬🇧

And today we finally got to put a little something on the front door…

OPENING SOON!

As the sign says:

“Pardon our mess — we’re importing Britain.” 😂🇬🇧

We're incredibly excited to see things starting to come together, and as the build-out gets underway we'll be sharing plenty more pictures and updates so you can watch the shop take shape with us.

Thank you to everyone who's been following, supporting and asking when we're opening. We can't give you that date just yet — but we're getting there!
