Tried Kirin down in Wilsonville for lunch today. The garlic tonkotsu shouyu was solid all around. Nice thick slices of pork with a perfect char, really tasty broth, noodles a little thin for my own preference, but the texture was perfect. Egg was well marinated albeit a tad over cooked. Pretty much the only area I can fault is that using shredded lettuce is a bit strange. Overall a great bowl, I'll definitely be back to try other stuff from.the menu. High 7s /10 @ Kirin Ramen

Besides being a ramen snob, I'm also a bit of a hot sauce connosuier. I'd been meaning to try Aka Miso with ramen for a while. So when I ordered the "spicy" chicken tan tan at and found it to be far too mild, I knew I had just the thing to kick it up to the right level. As I expected the sauce paired beautifully with the broth and made it damn near perfect.
