Who likes a creamy basque cheesecake? The feedback we got back at game-night was a success! Who knows we may drop a pie and a couple slices to sell during our next drop! This one dish took about 6/7 times of trial and error. Trying to find a the perfect balance between creamy and texture. Baking is definitely a science!

Eight months ago, Chubby Boy Rolls was just a crazy idea. Today, I’m 29, completely obsessed with cinnamon rolls, building this dream with Sean and my mom, and saving every dollar toward our very first truck. 🌀

These last eight months have changed my life in ways I never imagined. Watching you fall in love with our rolls and show my mom so much love for her flan recipe has meant everything to us.

Chubby Boy Rolls is proof that the crazy idea living in your head might be the one worth chasing. Start before you feel ready, put in the work, and choose yourself. You never know how much your life could change. 🤎

Two of you from this weekend have already reached out asking to buy my mom’s Cheese Flan as a whole pie, and one of you wants TWO! 🥹🍮 I seriously cannot believe the amount of love you’ve shown us. This weekend was filled with so many beautiful stories, hugs, happy tears, and plenty of lessons for our next little collaboration. I promise we’re going to keep learning and getting better every step of the way.

But the love you’ve shown my MOMMA BEAR has probably meant the most to me. As a Cuban American q***r kid from South Florida, one of my biggest dreams is simply to see my mom happy and give her the chance to experience as many of her own dreams as possible. Seeing you love something she made with her own hands has completely blown me away!

After both days were over, Sean and I went out for a little celebratory drink (yesss on the drive). We came home, I hugged my mom, and I ended up in tears because we knew this weekend was something special. Every chance I get to say “I love you” I SAY IT… And of course, my mom was already talking about making a NEW flan flavor. This is coming from the Cuban mom who swore she never cooked!

You guys have done something really special for our little family. We sincerely cannot thank you enough. We love you all dearly. 🥰🫶🏻

First things first… our Apple Pie Crumble Cinnamon Roll was an absolute HIT this weekend, and my mom’s homemade Cheese Flan had its own little moment too. 🥹🍎🍮 Watching you guys enjoy something we made with our own hands, right from our tiny home kitchen, was honestly surreal.

Our first collaboration with Yen’s Coffee House was one for the books. Saturday we sold out in about an hour, came home and made even MORE for Sunday, and somehow sold out again in EIGHT MINUTES. 😭 We learned a lot, we have plenty to improve, but the love you guys showed us was something we’ll never forget. Just me, Sean, my mama bear, lots of butter, very little sleep, and a whole lot of love. 😂🤎 Eight months in, baby. We’re just getting started. 🌀

This weekend was one for the books! 🥹🌀 If you’re new here, we’re Anthony, Sean + my mama bear, the little family behind Chubby Boy Rolls. This was our first-ever public pop-up and collaboration with Yen’s Coffee House, and you guys SHOWED UP. To everyone who preordered, waited in line, stopped by, or shared a conversation with us, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 🤎

We also learned A LOT. We sold out Saturday in about an hour, doubled down for Sunday, and still sold out after someone grabbed 20 rolls! 😂 To those who waited and didn’t get one, we’re truly sorry. We’re already working on a better system so more of you can enjoy a Chubby Boy next time. We’re only eight months in, growing quickly, learning as we go, and incredibly thankful for your grace. Huge love to Yen’s Coffee House for believing in us and sharing their space. Round two, baby… we’ll be READY! 🌀🤎
