Hi I am Ella. I am new here. I am a jersey girl. I am 2 1/2 years old. And I am giving milk to the humans.
The babies say I should tell you my story of how I got here. Very nice babies. So my day started out normally. Got milked at my other humans house and then we all met these new humans. Nice peoples the babies tell me. They patted me and loved me and the next thing I know I had this thing on, the humans call it a halter. And I was walking outside the barn with them. Then my other human made me get on this thing. The human called it a trailer. At this moment I get a little nervous cause I dont know what im doing or where im going. Im stuck in this trailer thing for a while. I stuck my head out of the trailer thing and watched where I was going so maybe I can make it back to my other human. Then the next thing I know we stop and this little human comes out and helps walk me into a new barn. So far I have met a couple of the new ladies. I like Breanna. I tried to steal her food but decided not too. I watched the humans take away all the p**p out of the barn then these things were running up and down the barn. I was so scared.
Then the new humans milked me.

Born in 2022
Reba is a full blooded Hereford. When we bought her, she was about a month pregnant ( with shelby) and had an older calf with her ( Loretta, which is now owned by another local farm) she did not like being touched especially the head/ face area. She has warmed up to us now after spending about a month before giving birth in the barn where we slowly got her to accept our touch.
She is a sweet girl. We will use AI so we can find a full blooded hereford bull to get her bred with.

Hi peoples. So yesterday I was laying down in Rosie's bed having a good nap and the mom said it was time for me to go to my bed so rosie can come have lunch. Well I made the mom think I couldn't get up, when she came to help I stood up all by myself and bonk my head on a board. It hurted so I rub my head all over the moms leg to make it better then I bonk mom in the butt. I thinks that was a bad idea, the mom told me that was naughty and pushed my head away. Then I went to my bed and I found yummies in my bowl. I still thinks I need more milk.
Did you notice that its so cold in the morning? I was thinking do they make coats for cows? I thinks i should have a coat. Ooh a warm bottle of milk and a nice warm coat sounds nice.
Has you ever seen a cow have a tantrum? Well the dad said my Grammy had one yesterday when he told her its not time for eating and milking. She stomped her big hooves on the ground like me. I thinks i saw her stick out her tongue at him too. I thinks I learned all the things from my grammy.

Good mornin humans... its me milk face, i mean Samson. The human mom and dad are mean. i needs help. I only get one bottle each time they bring one now. They tells me I am a big boy now. Uhh then why does shelby call me a baby and push me round the barn. I thinks I should get 2 bottles every time. I has been eating more of the yumminess they put in my dish cause I is soo hungry. The human dad scared me this morning. He went up the thing that bonked my butt and food Fell from above my bed and I jumped. I got snuggles from the mom after though. I didnt get the food, the dad put it outside for the mama cows and said we have enough.
Oh shelby and Daisy got to drink from the thingy that brings us water for our pails. They said it was yummy. But it got water in their eye and up their nose. And it wasn't as much fun as jumping over it or head butting it or even chewing on it. But they said the mom wasn't saying No a lot so they think drinking from the thingy is okay.
Ohh have you ever heard a pig make loud, very loud noises, the mom called it a squeal. Well we did. Miss piggie left for her big pasture with lots and lots of green grass and endless sunshine on Friday ( I still wants to go see this big pasture, the mom still says no) oh my she hurted my ears a lot. Daisy and Shelby said it hurted their ears too. The mama cows came and warched at the gate. The boy piggies got noisy too... She was so loud. I thinks the wild things that walk through the yard heard too. The mom calls them deer. Miss piggie didn't want to get into the trailer so the mom and dad had to make her. I was happy when she left. The mom said that Miss silly piggie had something wrong with her belly and had to leave before her brothers. I call her miss silly piggie cause her liked to run and slide on the floor during play time. Thats silly. I hurts myself when I tries that. Well napping time. I found sunshine to lay in.

Hi it's me, Shelby. Thats my mama, Reba, laying down in the back with Dawn and Breanna. I thought id say Hi while Samson and Daisy are sleeping.

So today I got some bad news....the mom told us that our surprise isnt coming.. she said the surprise was a sweet girl that I would like a lot. But the human that has her loves her way too much and decided to keep her. The mom says thats okay though. Some times its not meant to be and this was one of those times.
Any way the dad started making us more food last night thats the other picture. Food is good! I like food. The mom says she can tell I do with how big my belly is!! I am not sure if thats good or not!
Samson is happy & sad the dad made it so the thing that bonked him in the butt doesnt fall any more. So the mom said that the doctor said its okay to start taking away his bottles, yeah thats not going well. That's why he is sad, he wont eat his yummy food they put in our dish and he wants more bottle. He still gets 2 bottles a day instead of 4.
Well, my belly is full for now, I am gonna nap too until lunch time.
