À new group of Raven fledglings have left the nest at Black Acres Farm. If they look well fed, they are, thanks to the 10,000 eggs they have stolen over the past two months from our nest boxes.

If you visit the Sugar Shack and it sounds like someone is being murdered in the woods, don't worry it's just these four trying to mimic mom and dad!! 🐦‍⬛

One of our favorite signs of spring at Black Acres Farm is the return of the killdeers 🐦🌱

These little birds are full of personality and always seem to find the most interesting places to build their nests. Watching them protect their eggs and raise their tiny chicks around the farm is a reminder of just how alive and active the farm becomes this time of year ☀️🥚

Their famous “broken wing” act never gets old, and the kids love spotting the fluffy little babies darting around the fields and driveway. Nature is pretty incredible sometimes.

Spring has officially arrived at Black Acres Farm 🚜💚

Big things are brewing here at Black Acres Farm… and this one might be our boldest idea yet. 🍁⚡️

Over the past few months, we’ve been pushing ourselves to think beyond the traditional, and it has led us down a path we didn’t expect. After a lot of experimenting, taste testing, and fine-tuning, we’re getting close to launching something completely new. A maple-based energy drink made right here on the farm.

Built from our own pure maple syrup, this project has been all about combining natural energy with the same quality and simplicity you’ve come to expect from us. It’s been a fun (and honestly pretty wild) process bringing this idea to life, and we’re excited about how it’s coming together.

We’re still working through the final details, but we couldn’t wait to give you a first look.

And yes… early results suggest it delivers peak performance when poured straight over pancakes before a busy day. 🥞💪🔥
