Good morning 🥱 farm stand is open until 7 pm! Some very important updates:

🐮 don’t forget about our super cute “Support your Local Cowgirl” shirts… come see if we have your size and if not, maybe we’ll do some pre-orders soon 👀
🥓 I know the freezer shelves have been a little bare lately. We have a beef restock coming this week, chicken restock the second week of September, and pork restock in October. Thanks for bearing with us! 🫶🏼

KNEADFUL TREATS came a couple days early this week!! Come stock up on sourdough chocolate chip cookies, classic sourdough bread, sourdough sandwich bread and sourdough pizza crust before we sell out. Or don’t. More for me 😋

We also have salsa, milk, butter, cheese, soap, candles, dog treats, handmade aprons, vanilla extract, maple syrup and pasture raised meats. All local, small batch, handcrafted or raised by real people. When you shop here, you don’t just support my family. You support your local community & economy and several other local makers and their families 🫶🏼

I get that we’re all just struggling to survive, and we need to lower the cost of living, but American farmers are not exempt from these struggles. Speaking for my farm, we are closer than we’ve ever been to selling everything and closing shop and giving up on our dream. The cost of EVERYTHING has skyrocketed - purchasing new cattle, fencing materials, electricity, lumber, grain & hay, processing fees, vet bills, insurance, fuel, etc. It’s harder than ever to farm on a small scale and it’s just not profitable. But yes let’s continue to put other countries before our own and continue to push another generation out of agriculture 👍
