Josephine's Kitchen Josephine's Kitchen is a Wi******er based caterer that focuses on International dishes with a specialty in Polish foods.

Josphine's Kitchen is named in honor of my Babci, Josephine Banashek, who taught her children how to make pierogis and other polish dishes. Her children then taught their children and now even some of my Babci's great grandchildren are learning to make pierogis! Over time I developed my own filling recipes for pierogis (I even make my own pot cheese!). I've also developed my bread and other baked

good recipes through a lot trial and error until I was finally satisfied with how each item turned out.

*** I am not shipping orders at this time so arrangements to pick up items will have to be made with me. I also plan to be setting up at some local farmer's markets over the next couple of months.

If anyone is looking for some good food and fun this weekend I still have some spots left in my Polish cooking class this Sunday at Nibblins in Okd Town!

In this class we’ll be making 2 popular and delucious dishes - Hunter’s Stew (Bigos) and Polish meat buns (paszteciki) . We’ll also be sampling some traditional cookies - Walnut Kolaczki)

Save the Date: GardenFest 2026 - June 6, 2026, 8 AM to 2 PM

Garden Fest is a very popular annual Master Gardener event and sale, held on the first Saturday of June at the Belle Grove Historic Plantation in Middletown, Virginia. In 2025, over 1,000 patrons came to the event to enjoy a day out focused on gardening fun.

Attractions at the event include numerous affordable plants for sale, vendors, a rummage sale, fun activities for children, and informative workshops for gardeners. Don’t forget to bring your wagon!
