We put a halter on Blossom at feed time, pet her, and turn her loose. She is not yet sure she likes it, but she is beginning to let us turn her around a little.

They hatched from our most beautiful eggs.Now they are what we call "chicken trapped". Their mother is on the other side...

They hatched from our most beautiful eggs.
Now they are what we call "chicken trapped". Their mother is on the other side of the hutch and they are not yet solving the maze of going out the open door to go around and join her. She won't leave them, so eventually they will learn to get around this hutch. It does not seem that they learn to solve the maze, though. Chickens of all ages seem to get chicken trapped rather easily.

This one stayed in the keeper group. We are looking forward to seeing her lambs.

Our first time consigning at the Coalfield Sheep Association sale was a great experience.
A big thank you to the buyers, bidders, and visitors.
The hospitality of the Coalfield organization was amazing. Thank you for the work involved in making the logistics work so well.
We are looking forward to next year already.
