Fill your freezer for the next year or two! The price is $6.50 per pound, hanging weight. Note: the finished cut weight will be 30 - 40% less than the hanging weight, depending on how you fill out your cut sheet and how much bone and fat is discarded by the butcher. For example, a side would weigh between 300 and 350 pounds and cost $1,950, at the 300 pound mark. It would yield about 195 pounds (65%) of usuable cuts. Generally, cuts are: 31% steaks, 31% roasts and 38% ground beef and stew meat.

Native Angus Beef

Born and raised in New Hampshire, these beef cattle are pasture raised and corn finished, making the meat much more tender than just plain grass fed beef. They are hormone and antibiotic free and are processed in a federally inspected USDA facility. They are sold as “freezer sides”, meaning that you would purchased a side of beef (of split one with a friend or relative), have it cut to your specifications (steaks, roasts, size of packaging, etc) and pick it up in Athol, Massachusetts.

Almost all farms taking orders like this are sold out for the entire 2020 year, but we still have some openings. The first four sides will be ready for pick up in early September, then two each month thereafter.
