Day 14!!

Long days and hard work are the normal around here, but especially during this season! We have officially hit the 2 week mark, and despite it all, spirits stayed high and smiles were still spread 🤩

For lunch, we served mama’s subs again, with a little message on the containers 🥰 and for dinner, we served a garlic parmesan chicken pasta!

Day 13!! (Labor Day)

Going to be catching up on our posts finally, it has been one hectic season!! We served only lunch today as we let our crew have a much needed rest to spend Labor Day evening with their family/friends.

It was chili day! That’s one meal we cannot miss each year 😋

Day 12!!

There’s something so peaceful and special about watching the silage pile grow day after day. That, along with continuing to see the smiling faces of our crew is what makes it all worth it! 🥰

For lunch we served crispy chicken sandwiches (they were a HUGE hit the first time) and for dinner, mama made her chicken goulash 😋

Day 11!!

Long hours, long trips to the field, and long days are pretty common around here right now, however, we enjoy seeing the smiling faces every time we pass our crew on the road or see them at the silage pile!
This hard work does not go unnoticed!!

Day 10!!

It’s been a long 10 days, and yet our crew still shows up day after day to ensure the herd will be fed for another whole year. We cannot make it clear enough that we are so very thankful for everyone that has had a hand in making this season successful so far!! 🥰

Looking at these pictures gives us such a huge sense of joy and gratefulness for this amazing life we live.

Day 8!!

We might be all over the place, at the farm, on the silage pile, in the fields, in the silage trucks, cooking up some fantastic meals in the kitchen (if we do say so ourselves 😉) and yet all of these moving parts have formed the best crew we could ask for!

For lunch, we served mama’s famous subs again (because they’re a bit!) and for dinner, we made homemade kfc bowls 😋

Somehow, we become more thankful for this life that we get to live every single day.
We will continue to brag about just how great our team and village is, we could not get this done without them!
