Originally created in 1988 (what a great year, by the way) by Chef Dick Boston of Girard, Illinois, this sauce has deep local roots. Chef Dick was a family friend of North Greene alum Kaiden Davis, who grew up with this sauce as a staple in his childhood home. After Chef Dick’s passing, Kaiden, along with locals Nathan Randall, Todd Chapman, and Nate Davis, purchased the brand to ensure the sauce could live on and be enjoyed for years to come.

Looking for a way to try it? Kaiden swears by grilled BBQ pork steaks, generously slathered with Chef Dick’s, of course.
