Our first calf of the season arrived last night just ahead of the snow. Lavender did a beautiful job with her first calf all on her own, unlike her big sister who needed a lot of help. An as yet unnamed bull calf from Lavender and Jack. He is a commercial crossbred calf with some Charolais, Belted Galloway, Hereford and Angus who will debut his first show season with Xander this summer. He’s still a little dirty in this picture because mom got distracted by some fresh food and drink before finishing his bath. Frank finally got his white faced beltie!

Good morning fairgoers! It's overcast but the radar shows only a brief shower around 2 and the air is less humid with a nice breeze, perfect fair weather! Come enjoy our last day here at the fair before the return of the workweek! It all kicks off with youth dairy shows, antique tractor pulls, rides, food, exhibits, music and fun at 8! See you soon!

Say hello to Rosemary! Rosemary was born on the farm on May 28th, 2020. She is a Belted Galloway/Charolais/Limousin cross. Belle is her mother and Lavender is her sister. She had her show debut this past week at the Big E ESE New England 4-H beef show where she took Reserve Grand Champion Commercial Heifer. We are very proud of her! She will remain on the farm as part of our breeding program.

Meet Happy 😃 Happy recently had his first show debut at the Big E ESE New England 4-H livestock show where he placed 4th overall in his class. Happy is a yearling Charolais/Maine Anjou/Limousin cross steer who came to us in February from Rudolph Livestock in Westmoreland, NH. Happy will be available for sale at the Big E 4-H Beef Auction on September 27, 2021. Hope to see you there!

“Jack” joined our little herd today as part of our breeding program to bring in some herd diversity. He is a 3 year old Hereford/Angus cross. Jack comes to us from Saddle Brook Farm in Vermont.

Lavender was born on the farm on 6/5/21. She is a rare dun belted heifer. She is a 1/4 Charolais, 1/4 Limousin, and 1/2 Belted Galloway. Belle is her mother.

Belle is a 3 year old cow who joined us from Rudolph Livestock in 2019. She is a charolais/limousin cross. She is pictured here with her newest calf Lavender, born 6/5/2021.
