Lots of beautiful flowers in bloom, and hoping time allows to get some flower bunches on the stand!

Berries open tomorrow at 10am! I will also have flower bunches and a limited amount of rhubarb.

If you’re headed to a Memorial Day function - one of my favorite things to bring is a berry triffle!

I use lucky 13 farm berries, McNamara cream, echo farm pudding, and a one bowl vanilla cake recipe. Looks so fancy yet so simple to make and only takes a few minutes!

You’ll also support local farmers that are working on Memorial Day ☺️

♥️ Certified Naturally Grown!
Thankful to connect with safe food with consumers through this organization. This year our inspection was completed by a very knowledgeable UNH extension agent that’s advised us from the very start.
(We are USDA “transition Organic”)

♥️ Vine ripened - I harvest at peak sweetness!
Berries produced on large farms are treated with Ethylene to speed ripening. (Yes even the “organic” ones) This is why they appear red on the outside and white on the inside.

♥️ Greenhouse grown and extra early!
Though berries have a short production season, high tunnel production means a longer vegetative window. They require skilled management all year!

♥️ no insecticides, fungicides, or herbicides used, ever!
I’ve spent years developing an intensive IPM regime - daily monitoring, insect traps, fine exclusion netting, soil and climate motioning by sensor.

♥️no synthetic fertilizers
Fun fact - berries require the most nutrition post fruit production - not before!
Before flower in the spring the plants get a nutritive foliar spray.
After production, I thin the plants, top with compost, and side dress with fertilizer.

The sincerest accountability is taken in the production methods and handling of these berries! It’s a big accomplishment to grow this way when every creature on this planet wants a taste!

All inputs are New England products. Local builds community and supports small business!
