Hamon Haven Winery A family owned and operated small farm winery in Winchester, KY. Tasting Room hours are flexible but calling ahead is recommended.

Call 859-745-4161 and/or 859-420-6510 We have been making wines since 1980. We decided to start our own vineyard in 2000. Thirty varieties of grapes were initailly planted and over the last 12 years we have narrowed it down to varieties that grow well in our area and represent Kentucky style wine. Instead of concord grapes we planted Jupiter and Mars to make an "Out of This World" table wine. Bl

ackberries have also been grown for the last five years to make a very pleasant blackberry wine. This year we finally decided to open a winery and tasting room to share the fruits of our labor with others.

We had a great time this last Saturday. We were one of the hosts for the McConnell Springs Barrel Tasting. We had some great people stop by and had a great time. The drawing for a free bottle of wine was won by Mary Tucker. Congratulations Mary.
