Cheshire Garden We are a small organic fruit farm producing Farmstead Preserves, Mustards & more from our harvest.

We grow raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, elderberries, strawberries, red & black currants, peaches, pears, damson plums, tomatoes, peppers, garlic and herbs and create farmstead preserves and mustards from the bounty. We sell our products at Farmers' Markets and Festivals as well as through our website (www.cheshiregarden.com) and by mail-order. We are only "open" here at the farm by appointment (although we are almost always here).

Scores of dragonflies joined me as I enjoyed my late-afternoon G&T, making my heart sing as they flew about like wild improvisational jazz dancers.
4 rabbits frolicked through the gardens chasing each other around the blueberry-sunflower bed, while a fifth [these wiser] foraged on peaches dropped from the old Reliance tree.
The second photo is yesterday’s beverage where the season’s first peaches joined nasturtium flowers in a prosecco-aperitivo cocktail [Lara, Lisha, and Livi handled the details; I simply enjoyed the fruits of our labors.]

Did someone say it’s National Farmers’ Market week!?!?
I no longer have the legs [or the voice!] for farmers’ markets, but I was a regular from 1980-2020.
Tiny Farmstand is the best change I ever made [I can be flexible, really…} thanks to Ralph.
Support your local growers!
Food is best when grown close to home, and your food dollars help support real people, not corporate business.
We’re so lucky that here in New England, what we don’t grow ourselves, we can buy from friends and neighbors!

July, you really delivered the goods!
The final big, beautiful strawberries; the red currants, black currants; first of the raspberries, blueberries, and blackberries; abundant herbs like basil, lemon basil, dill, oregano, thyme; and all the edible flowers like nasturtiums, bachelor buttons, calendula, and borage, and SO MUCH GARLIC!
The sky is full of dragonflies and the finches are feasting on the calendula seeds. Robin dads are still feeding caterpillars to their young, and the sparrows play in the fountain.
My heart is bursting with gratitude!
