It’s World Bee Day AND our founder and beekeeper’s birthday! We’d say sharing a birthday with World Bee Day is pretty fitting 🐝🎂

Today we’re celebrating - the founder, owner, and beekeeper behind Ally Bee’s Honey — the one spending early mornings and late evenings in the bee yard, checking hives, sharing his wealth of knowledge with others, and making sure every jar of honey is something we’re proud to share. We are so thankful for him!

A lot has changed at Ally Bee’s Honey over the years, but the heart behind it hasn’t. Same family. Same hard work. Same commitment to bringing pure, raw honey from our farm to your table.

Here in the North Georgia Mountains our bees are working the blackberry blooms. This is one of the many plants where the honeybees will collect nectar to make our Wildflower Honey! If you stop by Smith Gall State Park, you can take a walk on one of their trails and see the bees in action at our bee yard!

It’s amazing to see how nature works together. These dandelions are making it a bit easier for the bees to gather nectar right on the doorstep of their hive! We love watching nature comes alive in springtime🌼🪻🐝

We have been busy this week adding supers to our hives🐝 Supers are extra boxes placed on top of the hive to give bees more room to store honey. When the hive gets crowded, bees can feel stressed and may even swarm (leave to find a new home). Adding a super keeps them happy, productive, and focused on making that golden honey 🍯
