Thursday we had our first certified organic heifer calf born on the farm meet Abigail mom and calf are doing great! The Farm fridge is stocked.Carli threw some fresh kale in there this morning from the garden.

412 is one of the oldest girls here on the farm. She gave birth to a nice good size healthy bullcalf the other day. They are both doing fantastic.

Morning activities on the daily here around the farm. Bringing the girls in for morning milking. The cows go out in the evening this time of year at night to beat the heat during the day and stay out of the sun. We are doing a rotational grazing system and found this is the best way to set up our grazing system as the season changes we can adjust our paddock sizes with temporary fencing no gate handles just picking the fence up and allowing the cows to go under the wire.
