This week’s staff spotlight is our sweet Lucy! She is the Greenhouse Lead for the Flower Team and manages seeding and greenhouse land with grace. Find her on the farm perfecting any number of accents, teaching others with a gentle hand, or admiring flowers with an artist’s eye! We are so lucky to have Lucy on our team! ☀️

I don’t know if I have a favorite, but right now I love celosia. Or chim chim!

August on the farm! ☀️

This is our busiest time of year - we’re simultaneously harvesting thousands of pounds of produce, planting fall crops, starting to plan for next year, and getting ready to send kiddos back to school! We’ve learned from experience that without a break from the intensity of the farm during the summer months, we simply can’t get through this part of the season in tact. Each of our year-round employees take a much-needed vacation to rest, reset, and come back ready for the second half of the year. We’re so fortunate to have an amazing team to keep the boat afloat with others step away - we’ve built strong systems and trained new leaders which allows the business to continue to thrive. We’re grateful for our team!
