This was a fun review to read for many reasons. Adam, is constantly on wine message boards and recently saw a Rose for $150. Understandably, there was a lot of commotion and one independent wine reviewer said something along the lines ~ it doesn’t matter, there aren’t any good domestic Rose wines anyway. Well, Adam said, “Bet.” and sent him a bottle of my Rose to review. John, from Wine Disruptors, is the type of reviewer who likes to taste the wine over three days. You can read John’s full review below but overall, the Cliff’s Notes of my 2024 Rose of Pinot from the Santa Lucia Highlands: “Outstanding quality with nice acidity. Day 2: Even better. Day 3: Excellent and holding form of the quality of day 2. Love the fruit featuring cherry, watermelon and strawberries. Highly recommended. For me to give a domestic Rose 90 is tough but this is better than that. (92 points).”
