Appreciating this Springlike ☀️ weather at Bondi Home Ranch where the crews are removing old wood to encourage new growth for the 2026 growing season.
Pruning this time of year can slightly delay bud break in an effort to avoid damage during frost to the new buds.
Proper pruning during the right window also helps control vine vigor, which leads to better yields and higher quality fruit!

In 1890, Giuseppe & Luisa Martinelli planted three acres of Zinfandel in Forestville, laying the foundation for our family’s winemaking legacy. 🍇
Today, we honor their journey with the 2024 Giuseppe & Luisa Zinfandel, a tribute to the couple who started it all.

We took a group of 30 special members to the top of Jackass Hill yesterday where they were treated to a splash of 2009 Jackass Hill Zinfandel at the top, as a reward for making it up the 60 degree slope.

Lunch followed with wines from Martinelli Valley. We have the best members out there!
