Our yearling Valentino took two, 2nd place ribbons at The New England Alpaca Owners And Breeders Association show, held at The Big E, in Springfield Mass.
Our good friend Jodi worked with Valentino, to halter train him, and to get them both ready for the show.
It’s been a life long dream of Jodi’s, to be able to show an animal in competition. We’re so proud and happy to make her dream come true. She did a fabulous job!
Valentino’s sire is our champion Romeo of Barron Hill Alpacas, his dam is Penelope Cruise of Barron Hill Alpacas. He has 12 grays in his lineage.
He’s super sweet and loves his snacks!🦙💙

A few “behind the scenes “ photos of our Guest House. Lesley just got done with a few upgrades in this Airbnb space. She just replaced the shower, new toilet, and new flooring. She also was gifted a beautiful huge wood stove, by her friend Jenn. She rallied some help to get it into the living room area, and hook it up properly.
All done just in time for our long term Airbnb guests to arrive!

We’ve been super busy this season! I’m sharing a few behind the scenes photos of our “Guest House”. It’s such a fabulous space, 2 bedrooms, large living room with skylight, beams and a sliding door to our in ground pool!
In the winter, you can cross country ski, right up to the front door, many hiking trails as well!

Welcome to the farm…..

Our Story

Fur Should Fly celebrates the animals in our lives with our cheeky animal themed art. Most of the animals in our photography line have been rescued and live at FSF or with one of our FSF team (excluding the alpacas).

Through out the year Fur Should Fly donates to N0-Kill animal rescues both large and small. Last year we where able to donate to 8 rescues ....

FSF reproduces original art created by our artists Connie R. Townsend, Julie Ireland and Monique Van de Ven. Connie’s oil paintings can be seen in galleries across the country. She is most well known for her series of dogs having a lark in vintage vehicles. Julie Ireland is a photographer with a cheeky sense of humor. Most of the animals in her photography have been rescued by FSF and are part of our family. There stories are shared on the back of our mugs and greeting cards. Monique Van de Ven is a long time friend that opted to end her life with dignity after a 16 year battle with cancer. Two days before she exorcised her right to die with dignity she gifted the rights to reproduce her water colors to Fur Should Fly. Now her creative work can go on being shared, making a contribution for animals to find forever-homes. Our products include animal-themed greeting cards, tees for all ages, totes, mugs and aprons which are currently available on our website www.furshouldfly.com. We appreciate your support and thank you for sharing our page on FB, instagram, twitter and pinterest with your friends that love animals.... from the Team at FSF.
