Earlier this summer our lease was approved and we took possession of a warehouse space in Windsor. We've started tenant improvements and our applications to the TTB and ABC for licensing.
We are doing this as a lean start-up, so much of the work is DIY . . . for those of you that know me, that should come as no surprise.
To help with funding, we're going to be holding Pre-Launch Food & Sake Pairing Events in different locations around the Bay Area. We have invited professional chefs to create tasty bites that will be paired with our Sake. We want to show that Sake can be enjoyed with many different types of food.
The events will be small, intimate dinners where we will talk about brewing Sake, our family's 100 year old history with Sake, and enjoy great food. These tastings will be by invitation only. No tickets will be sold, and donations are completely voluntary.
